Credit of Life Experience

Credit of Life Experience

Let's face it. Life has a knack for throwing us curve balls. We're able to hit some balls out of the park. Many, however, only get us to first base, while others cause us to strike out altogether. Take your education, for instance. How many times have you committed to completing a degree program, only to be thrown out of the game by other responsibilities? Once? Twice? Three times or more? You're not alone. Most working adults find it extremely difficult to fit traditional classroom education into their busy lives.

But, fortunately, all that's changed. E-learning, a revolutionary method of anytime, anywhere learning, offers mature students the convenience and flexibility they need to earn their degrees and enhance their careers. And, because e-learning allows you to design your own learning schedule and leverage your own learning style, you're better able to continue moving forward with your education - despite those pesky curve balls.
In addition, a lesser-known entity - life credits - is making it easier than ever for motivated e-learning students to complete a degree program. Life credits offer the potential for you to reduce e-learning class time required to complete your degree. For older students, this removes an incredible roadblock to continued education.
But what are life credits, and how can they help you achieve your goal?

Earn College Credit For What You Already Know

Simply put, colleges and universities recognize life experience - often gained through the workplace, military or through public or community experience - when conferring college credits. This acceptance of life credits helps to accelerate your e-learning college experience, while enabling you to earn a fully accredited degree.

If you look closely at your own life experience, there's a good chance that you've already batted home some of your college requirements. But each college and university independently designs and proctors its life credit program. So it's important to research potential programs to determine their relevance to your education objective and life experience. You should also make sure that the institution you're considering is fully accredited.

Bachelor of Arts Degree

Bachelor of Arts Degree

A bachelor of arts degree, also known as a BA degree, is an undergraduate degree granted from universities and colleges. The bachelor of arts degree is considered a liberal arts degree whose purpose is to provide general knowledge in mainly non-scientific subjects. Areas of study might include courses in the Humanities, including Literature, Foreign Language, History, Arts, and Philosophy. Other classes would be the Social and Behavioral Sciences, such as Economics, Psychology, or Political Science.

The typical time frame to obtain a bachelor of arts degree is 4 years, although some students finish within 3 years or take as long as 5 years. While specific degree requirements vary by school, most schools require at least 120 units to receive the bachelor of arts degree, with a certain number of classes designated as upper division. Students must first complete a general studies or core curriculum program. During the second year of study, students must declare a major, which is an area of interest, and take the specified number of related courses.

A bachelor of arts degree provides options for students upon graduation. Some may continue their education and receive a master's or doctorate degree. Other students opt to enter the workforce in such fields as education, journalism, or business. Not only is a BA degree more lucrative, the broad based education prepares students to be well rounded, culturally knowledgeable, and equipped with communication and critical thinking skills.

Solar Battery Prices info

Unlike solar modules and inverters, batteries are a mature technology and a product that is used in volume outside the solar energy industry. Consequently, the opportunity for major cost breakthroughs over the medium term is limited.

Batteries are used in the substantial off-grid solar markets, but also in on-grid markets, where the customer requires power even during periods that the electricity grid is down. Batteries can account for around 15% of the cost of an installed solar energy system.

While there are many more battery manufacturers than solar cell manufacturers, the market is segmented both by battery technology and location. Not all battery manufacturers serve the solar electric market. A high weight to price ratio means that where possible companies minimize transportation of batteries. Therefore, it is typical, for example, for a European manufacturer to mainly serve European markets.

Pricing Summary

From a survey of 384 prices from 21 online retailers, there were just four price moves this month as compared to 16 moves in the prior month. There were three price increases and one price decrease compared to 14 price increases and two price decreases in June's result. The US index was unchanged at $0.213 per watt hour.

For batteries most commonly used, the average retail price is from $0.239/watt hour to $0.260/watt hour; the high end industrial solution is $0.361/watt hour.

Unlike the methodology for the solar module price index, which separates Europe-based dealers from United States dealers, the battery index pools all the prices in the survey, for all dealers worldwide, and translates them in to either dollars or euros regardless of the original currency. In the past month, the dollar was unchanged against the euro. As a result, the overall euro index was unchanged at €0.149 per output watt hour.

The battery price index is based upon "price per watt hour" rating. Though not a perfect measure, since technology choice and other technical factors are relevant, the consistent approach in the index provides a representative guide on the direction and magnitude of changes. The index calculation is based upon the aggregate of all the prices divided by the aggregate output watts at 20 amp hours. Consequently a price per watt hour at 20 amp hours of discharge is the result.

Re: How Much is Average MBA Salary?

Regarding the United Stated Department of Education, accreditation is the acknowledgement that the college retains regulations required for its graduates in order to gain admission to other trustworthy institutions of higher education or to achieve qualifications for professional practice. This includes professional accreditation, which recognizes that an institution sticks to the appropriate regulations wherein a graduate would be able to competently practice within the field after graduating.

Since the New England Association of Schools and Colleges (NEASC) applies it, "accreditation is recognized as a symbol of accountability to the public." Ensuring that your online MBA will be well-respected by potential organizations, you'll really need to achieve it from an accredited university.
The background of accreditation goes back to the 19th century, when the quest for higher learning was finding an increase in interest. The consideration in standard colleges and universities came up with the importance of a procedure which could identify whether colleges attained ordinarily valued standards of academic quality. In the 1880's, the The United States observed an beginning of regionally accrediting bodies, that were peer-based and consisted of several other colleges and universities , which means that the accreditors engaged appeared to be using the same requirements of studying to themselves. By the twentieth century, national accrediting agencies had been established to create minimum standards of academics quality through the entire country. In 1912, the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools (ACICS) was developed for private colleges and turned into one of the first national accrediting body in the us. Shortly after, the American Council of Education (ACE) has been started in 1923, together with the mission of incorporating public institutions into the accreditation process.
Today, equally ACICS and ACE are nevertheless functioning like the six major agencies which provide state accreditation. Accredited MBA programs online should have regional accreditation according to the state the places their main campus is situated. Accredited online MBA programs using satellite campuses and venues should additionally have the adequate regional accreditation for those states, at the same time. These institutions are recognized by the United States Department of Education (USDE) as well as the Council for Higher Education Accreditation, (CHEA) and are:

• Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges or MSA, grants accreditation to institutions in Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Central America, Europe, and the Middle East.
• New England Association of Schools and Colleges or NEASC, grants accreditation to schools in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
• North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement or NCA, grants accreditation to institutions in Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Navajo Nation, Nebraska, New Mexico, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Dakota, West Virginia, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
• Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges or NWCCU, grants accreditation to institutions in Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington.
• Southern Association of Schools and Colleges or SACS, grants accreditation to institutions in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Latin America.
• Western Association of Schools and Colleges or WASC, grants accreditation to institutions in California, Hawaii, and other Australasian nations.
There are 52 recognized national accrediting organizations. If an institution has not earned MBA accreditation from a regional agency, it should have accreditation with a national agency instead. Some of the broader agencies (as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education) include:
• Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC)
• Accrediting Council for Continuing Education and Training (ACCET)
• Council on Occupational Education (COE)
• Distance Education and Training Council (DETC)
